Big Bore Competition
The annual Big Bore Shoot will be held Saturday October 19 at the Walker Road Range. The competition will consist of 3 shots fired free hand at a distance of 75 yards. Any center-fire rifle (scope or open sights) .22-250 or larger in caliber permitted. All entrants must be members of the Sackville Rod & Gun Club. BBQ fundraiser by the Sackville Youth Marksmanship team will be present. For more information contact Matt Hicks.

Shotgun Shoot
Following the Big Bore competition a shotgun shoot will be held at the Landing Road range at 2:00 pm. This shoot is open to the public and everyone is invited to attend.

Ducks Unlimited Dinner in Sackville
Ducks Unlimited Canada will be hosting a dinner at the Sackville Legion on November 30th. Tickets are available at the Amherst office or by calling 902-667-8726.
Sackville Clean Sweep looking for volunteers!
The annual Clean Sweep is a program to help clean and beautify the Sackville community. This year it will be taking place Saturday May 4th from 9:30 - noon. Participants are asked to meet at the lobby of the new town hall building at 9:30 to pick up garbage bags and get directions to locations which need cleaning. The event takes place rain or shine and refreshments will be provided.
